Association of Wrens

The Association of Wrens is the Association for past members of the WRNS, WRNR, QARNNS and former VADs together with past and serving women of the RN and QARNNS.


The Derbyshire Dales Branch is the local branch for Derbyshire and meet in the afternoon of the first Wednesday of every month, except August.  The meetings are held at the The Whitworth Centre, Station Road, Darley Dale, Matlock, Derbyshire DE4 2EQ and start at 1.45pm. The venue is conveniently situated on the A6 north of Matlock and is on several bus routes.  Lifts can often be arranged from other parts of the county.


We meet for fun and fellowship.  Often we have an outside speaker but we are equally capable of just chatting the afternoon away or one of our members will talk about her own experiences.
