RedWelly, The Royal British Legion's Gardening Service,
was officially launched in Derbyshire on Tuesday 29th September 2009.
The event took place in front of Derby City Council House. The launch
was carried out by the Mayor of Derby - Councillor Sean Marshall
and the Derbyshire County Chairman - Mr Bernard Page was
also present. Representatives of RedWelly, Poppy Calls and The Royal
British Legion were also in attendance.

A number of RedWelly and Poppy Calls vans were lined-up in front of the Council House steps, along with their drivers and RedWelly gardeners. All of the vans are branded with their own distinctive logos.

Following the launch light refreshments
were taken in the nearby Age Concern shop.
