Help us raise funds for the
Poppy Appeal all year round.
Throughout the
year, The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory
of nearly 10.5 million serving and ex-Service people and their dependents.
That is one-sixth of the UK population. We receive more than 1,000
calls from people every week for help with issues ranging from counselling
and job retraining to nursing care and war grave visits.
In 2007 the Poppy
Appeal raised £30 million.
In 2007 The Royal British Legion spent over £88 million carrying out its
Poppy Support work.
Just as British
service people are in action around the world every day of the year, so our
need for your support carries on.
Could you help to raise much needed funds for the Poppy Appeal? Whether it
is a coffee morning in your local community or a sponsored cycle ride
across the UK, your help will make a real difference. If you can help
The Royal British
Legion in Derbyshire please get in touch with the Derbyshire Community
Fundraiser (details given below).
